Aref Karim is a Bangladeshi-born British accountant, hedge fund manager, and founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Quality Capital Management (QCM). Aref has decades of experience in all facets of portfolio management, specializing in the design of quantitative and systematic approaches to investing. He served as Senior Investment Manager for the multi-billion dollar overseas sovereign wealth fund, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). Aref has academic knowledge of physics, chemistry and mathematics as well as a chartered accountancy qualification. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
