Barnaby Cardwell holds a Bsc in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham. He founded Cardwell Investment Technologies which started off with a fully systematic futures trading program for various pension funds. In 2018 the company transitioned to a family office that primarily invests in systematic futures trading strategies but also has a remit to invest in single stocks and to take early-stage stakes in digital startups. Cardwell’s systematic strategies draw on a quantitative approach to system design that not only incorporates robust statistical foundations but also utilizes a qualitative overlay from over 25 years of trading experience.
