Edward Tom is Senior Director at Cboe. He honed his skills as an equity derivatives portfolio manager at Ellington Management Group and as Managing Director and Global Head of Equity Derivatives and Quantitative Trading Strategy at Credit Suisse, where he led research and analytics for major financial institutions globally. His career began in 1991 at JP Morgan developing statistical models, followed by positions at Salomon Brothers and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Edward is an adjunct professor at Cornell University’s Graduate School of Engineering and has served on the faculty of New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering. He holds a B.S. in management information systems, and an M.A. in economics from New York University.
