Jake Barton is vice president and investment advisor for Promus, a position he moved into after starting with Promus as a portfolio manager in the alternative investing space. Jake currently serves on the investment committee at Promus and works closely with families to purposefully manage their wealth and build their legacy. Jake served as a surface warfare officer in the United States Navy with a nuclear power subspecialty and spent two years as assistant professor of Naval Science at Northwestern University. Jake holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and an M.B.A. with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
