JP Bruynes is a partner in the Quantitative Investment Management Practice at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. He represents domestic and offshore commodity trading advisors, commodity pool operators, hedge fund managers and pool investment vehicles in all aspects of their business. JP has extensive experience representing CTAs in Akin Gump’s global commodities funds practice. He actively participates in structuring, negotiating, and documenting fund formation and other transactions in the private investment space. JP earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science at Trinity College, Harford, and he completed his J.D. at Vanderbilt University Law School.
