Simon Hunt is the founder of Simon Hunt Strategic Services. He began his career in 1956 in Central Africa as a PA to the Chairman of Rhodesian Selection Trust, Sir Ronald Pain. In 1961 he returned to London and joined Anglo American Corporation of South Africa as a PA to one of the Board Directors. In 1995 he founded Brook Hunt, a metals consultancy business. From there he helped start up a new copper development organization, CIDEC, financed by copper producers where he focused on conducting end use studies of copper in Europe. He was educated at Lancing College, Sussex UK and Universite Catholique du Louvain, Belgium.
