Steven has recently retired after a long and distinguished career. He was an Economic Adviser at the UK Treasury, and Head of Global Markets Research and Chief Economist of Deutsche’s investment Bank. He also has investment experience, having been head of Multi Asset at Morgan Grenfell after which he ran a successful global macro hedge fund which he continued on rejoining the asset management industry in a firm which became Columbia Threadneedle Asset Management, where he was also Chief Economist. Steven has economics degrees from the London School of Economics and Stanford University.
