David Druz, MD was the President and founder of Tactical Investment Management Corporation. Dave is no longer actively trading and the company was retired in 2023. After earning an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Medicine in 1979, David initially practiced ER medicine while he established Tactical. He was an apprentice of Ed Seykota and he worked for the Chicago Board of Trade (now the CME Group) during summers, while in college. He founded Tactical Investment Management Corporation in February 1980. His career in futures investment spans over four decades.
