Stephen Miran
Manhattan Institute
Stephen is a fellow at the Manhattan Institute. He is also a Senior Strategist at Hudson Bay Capital, and works at the intersection of economic policy and investing. Previously, he was senior advisor for economic policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. During his time with Treasury, Miran contributed to the implementation and evaluation of several CARES Act programs. He also contributed to the analysis and formulation of economic support programs. Prior to Treasury he was portfolio manager at Sovarnum Capital and an economist at Fidelity Investments. Stephen received his Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University, where he was a student of Marty Feldstein. He received a B.A. from Boston University.
